Salam everyone! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Laila Sadeddin and I am the Arabic and Quran teacher for 6th grade at Al-Iman School. We have a very fun, interactive, and busy year in store for us!

I am ecstatic to be in the classroom serving as your teacher as we explore and learn about the Arabic language, explore the beautiful cultures of the Middle East, and incorporate our great holy book- the Holy Qur’an- into everything we learn, God willing.

Given that I will be in the classroom with you everyday and will be responsible for your learning and academic success when it comes to Arabic and Qur’an, allow me to introduce myself! I graduated from Suffolk University with Latin Honors with a History major and a minor in Middle School Education Studies and International Affairs. For the past many years, I have taught students the Arabic language from the ages of four to fourteen, and know what it takes to educate children of all different backgrounds, levels, and walks of life. Born and raised in Boston, MA, I am a product of the Massachusetts Public Schools and know how it feels and what it’s like to be a Muslim-American student.

Due to my cultured background and bilingualism in both English and Arabic, I have always been surrounded by historical and political knowledge from all over the world. I have been interested in history, the Arabic language, and Islamic civilization for as long as I can remember, and as a well-traveled, Islamized yet cultured Arab Muslim-American, it is an understatement to say that the language, culture, geography, and history of many Arabic-speaking and Muslim countries are just some of my strongest points.

Needless to say, I am very excited to be teaching at Al-Iman School. From day one, I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher and help educate the future generations of America. I cannot wait to have my students learn from me, and I am even more excited to learn from you, God willing.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at I look forward to working with you throughout the school year!
